Ok. So Thursday will NOT work as a running day. I have too much going on on Thursday for that. So I am going to try this schedule instead:
Not much of a change, but it should work out better. I can do the cardio at home, since I will just jump rope in the garage and do some sit-ups and push-ups in the living room. My problem was that I was not able to find time to go running until nearly 9pm, by which time my kids are in bed and I am exhausted.
I did go running yesterday (Friday) and I did yoga afterwards. My run went really well and I have finished Week 1 of C25K! I have no idea how far I ran… I lost track at around 12 laps. 15 laps = 1 mile. I do know that I definitely went over 1 mile and I either made it to 1.5 or was barely shy of 1.5. There were a few times when I thought I was not going to be able to keep up with the running, but I really pushed myself forward.
I have also really buckled down on the candy intake. I have thrown out any extra Holiday candy and cookies. I was going nuts with all that junk around. It was as if I couldn’t control myself. I tried to limit myself to one treat per day, but that didn’t work out. I did great yesterday with allowing myself just a gummy fruit snack pouch. It is much easier with no other temptations around.
