Day 13: Something Old

Hmmm. Something old? I have moved so much that I have very little in my life that is old. Maybe old friends? I have known Abigail for somewhere around 25 years and Mandy for around 35 years. I am thankful for both of them. We’ve had some fun shenanigans together. And some not so fun ones. But over all these years, we may have lost contact, but we managed to find each other again.

Then there is my husband. We have been together for 23 years and married for 18 of those years. He has put up with my weirdness and he helps to keep me grounded and mostly out of trouble. I love ya, Babe.

  1. I love my old young friends. They have been my family and my tribe.

Libby has always, always been there for me and loved me when I am unloveable. Charlotte — always the hostess, always generous, always the best Tv series and film watching buddy, drinking buddy, etc. Lisa, our lives running in incredible parallel dimensions, such a brilliant and funny companion. Michael, my little brother. I watched him transform from a red-headed, goofy Kramer to a strangely stable person with a beautiful wife and daughter. His friendship has gone beyond the call of duty. Josh, always a challenge, but a generous spirit and fellow animal-lover.

  2. Shenanigans? I forbid you to say “shenanigans” one more time.
